Game-Based Learning in Education 

The purpose of this course is to introduce instructors to concepts and methods related to the pedagogical use of games, which can improve the quality and efficacy of education dramatically. They will learn how to leverage open educational materials, gain new skills, and incorporate GBL strategies into their courses, as well as create a sample lesson.

They’ll also share ideas and establish connections with instructors from other European countries. They will have a better knowledge of the concept and potential benefits of Game-Based Learning after completing this course, as well as the skills and competencies required to implement the method in their classroom.

Methodology:

The methodology will attempt to give participants with an effective learning environment in which they may actively participate in their learning process. The methodology will attempt to integrate their prior knowledge and experience with the new information by integrating theoretical and practical expertise. Presentations, web resources, teamwork, excellent practice examples, case studies, practical learning by doing, assessment, and evaluation are all part of the process.
